There are a variety of flavors weaving in and out from beginning to end.
The first third is dominated by an earthy undertone and leather. The pepper is never overwhelming though, and it slides into the backdrop. About an inch into the stick, you get a nice splash of citrus and some leather.
In the second third, the nice splash of citrus and some leather shift foreground in the middle third, accompanied by toasted nuts and a natural tobacco flavor. Earth and wood notes remain pronounced.
In the final third, there is a hint of coffee that comes into play with just a dash of nutmeg. The other flavors are now all in the background. The cigar is medium-bodied (which is good, as it would be overwhelming if it were full-bodied), and the smoke is thick and aromatic.
