Devil 57

6.9 x 68 – 3 color wrapper

100 in stock

While there are plenty of double and triple wrapper colors wrapped to cigars on the market. Definitely, the Devil 57 combines them all. The Devil 57 delivers its own spin on the appearance and blend’s flavor profile.

In the first third, it starts producing a combination of chocolate, leather, and little pepper.  This soon joins by some notes of cherry.  The cherry is a bit of a sour cherry taste, but it actually works quite well meshing with the other flavors (i.e. it is not a harsh sourness).  The chocolate and leather notes are primary early on. The pepper and cherry play more of a complementary role and are more present on the after-draw.  The retro-hale takes on more of a cedar flavor note.

In the second third, the pepper and cherry notes remain in the background. By the ten percent mark, the chocolate notes recede.  Meanwhile, the cherry notes transition to more of a classic citrus – joining the leather notes in the forefront.  The pepper notes remain secondary. The pepper notes slowly increased while the citrus notes moved into the background.

Between the second and final third, the citrus notes increase once again and move back into the forefront. The leather notes are now secondary and the chocolate is pretty much dissipated.

In the last third, the pepper notes are left standing as the dominant flavor.  Amazingly this cigar finishes up for two reasons:

1) The nub is not overly spicy

2) The nub is both firm and cool (a big surprise considering the ring gauge).
