Diablo

5 – 6/8 x 64

100 in stock

An enticing cigar with a smooth reddish-brown Dominican Corojo 2006 Wrapper that had no major veins and tight seams.

In the first third, the pre-light ritual is consistent in notes. There is a sweet almost buttery scent on the foot and the wrapper provides a heavy black pepper on the lips. Diablo delivers a full volume of smoke with an immediate burst of pepper to the palate that is quite strong on the retro-hale. The pepper diminishes rapidly after a few good draws.

In the second third, There is a cedar flavor running through that balanced well with the sweetness. Also getting a nut aroma off the burning foot and a touch of tang after about 3 inches in.

In the final third, as it burns, the flavor profile stays consistent and picks up a few bursts of white chocolate just before the band. I get that now and then, right near the sides of the back teeth. Reaching the band burns down picks up a coffee note that enters the profile but the sweetness remains throughout.
